How to make Kuzhambu

Ingredients

Container A - Tamarind Paste, Jaggery
Container B - Small Purple Brinjal
Container D - Grated Coconut, Black Pepper, Cumin Seeds, Dried Red Chili Pepper

Spice Pods
Pod 1 - Madras Tempering
Pod 2 - Red Chili Powder
Pod 3- Turmeric
Pod 4- Coriander Powder
Pod 5- Salt
Pod 6- Madras Curry Powder

Liquids
Vegetable Oil and Water

Recipe Directions

Container A:
Load 3 ½  ounces of tamarind paste and 7 teaspoons of powdered jaggery into container A.

Container B:
Load 130 grams of small purple brinjal, cut in chunks,  into container B.

Container D:
Load 100 grams of grated coconut, 10 peppercorns of black pepper, 2 ½ teaspoons of cumin seeds and 3 dried red chili peppers into container D.

Spice Pods:
Place the spice pods labeled madras tempering, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, salt and madras curry powder into slots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Final Steps:
Check if the pan, stirrer and spatula is placed properly, and if the stirrer is connected to the outlet.

Check if water and oil is sufficiently added.
